"Fundamental Rights are those rights which all people can simultaneously claim without forcing people to serve their needs."
Without telling you who said this, what do you think of it? How does it apply to free education, free health care, etc.?
Now, who do you think said this?

Pursuit of Happiness
What is the "pursuit of happiness"?
Today many people seem to think that the right to pursue happiness is the right to have a happy, peachy life. Therefore, they think they have the right to free education, health care, social programs, etc.
On the contrary, the pursuit of happiness simply refers to "the right to pursue any legal activity as long as it does not infringe on the rights of others." Therefore, it is basically an extension of your right to liberty. You are free to do what you will as long as it doesn't infringe upon others' rights.

Don't Politicians Frustrate You?
"I want the American people to understand that we have a clear and focused goal: to disrupt, dismantle and defeat al-Qaida in Pakistan and Afghanistan, and to prevent their return to either country in the future," Obama said. "That's the goal that must be achieved. That is a cause that could not be more just."
Whatever happened to the "exit strategy" he was talking about last weekend? And all throughout his campaign?

The Bee-Watcher Watchers
Have you ever thought how pertinent this was to government? Read this poem, and keep in mind all of the agencies in the cancerous growth called the Administrative Branch of the government.
Did I Ever Tell You How Lucky You are?
by THEODORE GEISSEL
(Dr. Suess) 1973
Oh, the jobs people work at!
Out west, near Hawtch-Hawtch,
there’s a Hawtch-Hawtcher Bee-Watcher.
His job is to watch...
is to keep both his eyes on the lazy town bee.
A bee that is watched will work harder, you see.
Well...he watched and he watched.
But, in spite of his watch,
that bee didn’t work any harder. Not mawtch.
So then somebody said,
“Our old bee-watching man
just isn’t bee-watching as hard as he can.
He ought to be watched by another Hawtch-Hawtcher.
The thing that we need
is a Bee-Watcher-Watcher.”
WELL...
The Bee-Watcher Watcher watched the Bee-Watcher.
He didn’t watch well. So another Hawtch-Hawtcher
had to come in as a Watch-Watcher-Watcher.
And today all the Hawtchers who live in Hawtch-Hawtch
are watching on Watch-Watcher-Watchering-Watch,
Watch-Watching the Watcher who’s watching that bee.
You’re not a Hawtch-Hawtcher. You’re lucky you see.

This reminded me particularly of the Federal Department of Education. What a waste of money! They have a watch-watcher job to the T. They just have to watch the State Depts. of Education. I mean, we wouldn't want the local people to have to be in charge of deciding what to teach their kids! Oh, I guess the Fed Dept. also gets to waste our money on TV shows like "Dragon Tales." That makes you feel just great, doesn't it?
What watch-watchers bug you the most?
