Fundamental Rights

"Fundamental Rights are those rights which all people can simultaneously claim without forcing people to serve their needs."

Without telling you who said this, what do you think of it? How does it apply to free education, free health care, etc.?

Now, who do you think said this?

Good quote. Negative rights are the foundation to freedom because they do not force others to do things on your behalf against their will.

I won't cheat by using Google, but I would guess John Locke...?

Actually, it is Skousen. Tricked you though, eh? I was hoping people would think it was John Locke.
